Races, Bike Rides and Summer Begins

Congratulations to our training partners in their races last weekend.

-Carrie ran the Sunflower Trail half marathon in Winthrop - phew 3000 feet elevation gain!
-Ann J, Ann S, Cheryl, Deb, Karen and Linda ran the Cinco de Mayo half in Snoqualmie. Karen and Linda were 1st and 2nd place in their age group, Cheryl, Ann J and Deb were 1st, 3rd and 4th in their age group.
- Judy and Max ran the Vancouver BC  half and loved the route.
-Don walked the Bloomsday in Spokane and could barely get a pace going with sooo many people!!

The Sunday Morning Run/Walk group is over until the fall. More races coming up for our team members.

Our bikers are out for events and rides now that the weather has been a little more cooperative. A group went to the Lewis County Historical Ride and rode 66 miles on country roads. There is usually a coffee break at the end of the rides, so a great reward at the end.

And a Tuesday morning celebration for all the May birthday folks and a going away party for Roberta, we will miss her!!!

Good Luck to our racers next week at the Capitol City Half Marathon in Olympia next week
