Mason Lake Wildflower Hike

We had a most wonderful hike to Mason Lake today. Many kinds of wildflowers out and thanks to Maureen and Deb we now know the names of all of them!!! Low fog much of the way, but it parted when we reached the lake for wonderful views. No bugs!

Annette Lake Drizzle and Mud

We had a wonderful hike in the mud today. It was a bit drizzly at the start, but was mostly dry from the skies. The ground was another thing, mud, rocks and tree roots, nothing we couldn't handle though. Got an early enough start and had the trail to ourselves until the way down. Maybe the weather kept a few people away. There were many full creeks and streams, wildflowers including the last of the trillium, boulders and downed trees, oh and did I saw mud??
