Summer goes on

The weather has been absolutely beautiful lately, yes even the rain was nice, especially for our gardens.

The Sunday group is in full swing as people ramp up for September, October and November races. Check out who is doing what below.

Congratulations to the Iron Girl Sprint Triathlon finishers last weekend: Carrie, Jennifer C and June.

And a big WOW to the RAW (Ride Around Washington) riders pedaling hundreds of miles around the Olympic Peninsula: Deb,  Linda, Lloyd, Niki

Ann is pedaling her way around the Canadian Rockies, as Betty and Susanna pedal their way along some nice Italian roads too.

Leslie is getting ready for the Grand Fondo and Alyson and Sandra for the High Pass Challenge. If you don't know what those are, long bike rides with thousands of feet of elevation gain.

Cheryl is getting ready for the Reykjavik Marathon in Iceland next weekend.

So there is still lots happening and much to do. Keep on moving.

Melakwa Lake

Melakwa in Chinook means 'mosquito', but we didn't have any, just sunshine and great views.

There is the full and 1/2 Marathon distance training as well as a 10 km distance. Something for everyone to help keep you fit through the fall.

Races we will be doing in October: Victoria, Vancouver RNR,  Portland and the FREEP.
In November is the Seattle Ghost and the Seattle, both on Thanksgiving weekend and some are going all out at the NYC Marathon.

Drop me an email for more info or to register.

And Happy Birthday cupcakes - yummy after a Carkeek art run.
