April showers......

Our bike group did an early season Pass ride, up and over, turnaround, than up and over old Blewett Pass. It was mostly sunny, not too cold, with only a short stretch of hail! Great ride, great company and beautiful!!!

Anneke and Annemieke had a cold, wet and breezy Boston Marathon. Congratulations are certainly due to both of them.

Happy hiking! There is some new snow on the passes, but Mt Si is free and clear!

Happy birthday ride!
Mt Si one more time!

Hiking and Races

What a glorious day for whatever adventure you chose for yourself today.

We had a wonderful hike on the Granite Creek Road Trail, blue shies, lovely views and a fabulous forest. Best of all hardly another hiker to be seen!!

Congratulations to the Wenatchee Marathon racers: Seujan and 'becca on their full and Ann and Carrie on the half.

Jeany raced her first 50km trail run at the North Face Challenge in New York and rocked the course, no pun intended. Congratulations indeed.

Taylor Mtn and Other Fun Activities

The last week Sunday run/walk group started out with the downtown views from Gas Works, then went on to visit the last of the cherry trees on the UW campus.

Today was an active bike and hike day. Taylor Mtn was awesome, many spring flowers, mossy trees and a few lovely flowing streams. Oh and quite a bit of mud too!!
