What a Hot, Hot Summer

This is so not Seattle in June.  People in Seattle get nervous when it doesn't rain, happy when it rains and overheats when it's 60 degrees out.

So many races and events the last few weeks. And we are not yet done, this weekend brings the Seattle Rock N Roll and the Snoqualmie Valley 1/2s! Good luck to all.

So let's see what happened:

Ann and Karen D had a wonderful time at the Troika 1/2 Ironman in Spokane.
The next weekend they rode the Apple Century in near 100 degree temperature.

At the North Oylmpic Discovery 1/2 Marathon: Tristan, Linda, Jamie, John and Eileen enjoyed the beach views and coastal cooling.

Our Team is gearing up for many summer biking events and putting in many miles including several trips to Blewett Pass, Sunrise, Flying Wheels, Seven Hills of Kirkland (over and over), the Sultan Bakery ride, and so many more.

The Sunday morning Run/Walk group ended last weekend and celebrated with a yummy picnic potluck in Woodland Park.
