Margaret's Way and Squak Mtn Hike

Another wonderful hike in the amazing NW forests. We tried out the new Margaret's Way trail heading to Debbie's Overlook, then added a loop around Squak Mtn. So much to see today: eagles, pileated woodpeckers, winter wren (heard not seen), western grey squirrel, baby mole (dead), banana slugs, angel wings mushrooms, butterfly, snails, many wildflowers and finally - tada - trillium! What a great day!

What A Gorgeous Day for a Hike

I suppose it was a wonderful day for just about anything!! Our hike to Wallace Falls and Wallace Lake was spectacular. Now I know I say that after just about every hike, but today, it was perfect! I am posting many pictures because it was hard to choose which ones to leave out.

Lots of water, moss, trees, hills & green, but no trillium yet!
