Yesterday was
Washington Trails Day and we hiked to the Kendall Katwalk on the PCT to celebrate. Our 12 mile hike with 3000 feet of elevation gain was rewarded with awesome views, great company and wonderful weather.
Other news: Cheryl had an interesting
1/2 marathon last weekend in Anacortes. Ann swam, rode and ran at an
Ironman Training Camp to see the course for the Whistler IM in 3 weeks. Party time to celebrate with Niki and Maureen. The
Wednesday hiking group discovered the Frink Park trails and lovely gardens in the Mt Baker area. Sandra ran the Medicine Moon Run 10km and had a great time, she left it all on the road too!!
RAW (Ride Around Washington) is happening now, good luck to Carla, Dave, Linda, Lloyd, Mary Sue, Molly and Sandy!!!!
Coming up: The NEW
Sunday run group starts next weekend. Paradise Hike and Bike in a few weeks.
