Last weekend was perfect weather for a host of events and Team Green had lots of success.
Congratulations to our
Rock N Roll halfers: Amanda (her first), Anita, Anneke (PR), Barb N, Barb S, Carrie M, Charlie, Corina, Ericka, Jenn, Julie B, Kathleen K, Laura P, Lisa D (PR), Mary Sue (her first), Penni, Rita, Sharon, Talena (PR) Terry, Therese, Toni L. And to Arturo who decided (along the way) half was not enough and completed the full!
At the
Lake Padden Tri, Ruth took 2nd in her age group, seconds from 1st place!
Then at
Pacific Crest Olympic Tri in Bend, Karen D received 3rd place honors in her age group and Ratna smoked the course. Sarah A got 3rd in her age group and Scott cruised in the
Duathon.
'becca had a fun, easy time of it at the
Two County Metric Century ride in Tumwater.
Those of us still in training: the Saturday bike (59 miles) and Sunday run (13 miles) groups enjoyed wonderful sunny weather!
