Summer goes on

The weather has been absolutely beautiful lately, yes even the rain was nice, especially for our gardens.

The Sunday group is in full swing as people ramp up for September, October and November races. Check out who is doing what below.

Congratulations to the Iron Girl Sprint Triathlon finishers last weekend: Carrie, Jennifer C and June.

And a big WOW to the RAW (Ride Around Washington) riders pedaling hundreds of miles around the Olympic Peninsula: Deb,  Linda, Lloyd, Niki

Ann is pedaling her way around the Canadian Rockies, as Betty and Susanna pedal their way along some nice Italian roads too.

Leslie is getting ready for the Grand Fondo and Alyson and Sandra for the High Pass Challenge. If you don't know what those are, long bike rides with thousands of feet of elevation gain.

Cheryl is getting ready for the Reykjavik Marathon in Iceland next weekend.

So there is still lots happening and much to do. Keep on moving.

Why Hike in the Rain

Not that it ever rained that hard, but the best reason to hike in the rain is it keeps the people and bugs away. We had an awesome time hiking to Annette Lake, a favorite snow-free hike for this time of year.
