Thanksgiving Weekend = Races

It started with two Seattle favorite Turkey Trots on Thursday. One on the east side of Seattle at Magnuson Park and the other on the west side at Golden Gardens, either way you couldn't go wrong with fun times with friends. At the same time Nicki was burning up the streets on Bainbridge Island and Seujan was way over in Atlanta running an awesome time in the 1/2 Marathon.

Then Saturday was the Seattle Ghost 1/2 Marathon, where several team members cruised up and down Lake Washington Blvf and around Seward Park.

Races were finished off with the Seattle 1/2 Marathon on Sunday. The promised rain did not happen and the winds let up early on.

Busy Weeks

One would think with the fall/winter upon us and the cold dark and wet days, we would be holed up sitting on the sofa. Not this group. We are working out hard and enjoying the season. Here are some photos from the last few weeks.

Waterfalls and Snow Hike

Just happened that our hike had a fair amount of water on the trail before we hit 4-6 inches of snow at the high point of our hike. More than expected, but a totally fun day. The Wallace Falls are awesome with spectacular views, the falls are running quick and full right now. As we climbed higher and higher to Wallace Lake the snow got deeper until we were in a winter wonderland. Awesome adventure with great hikers.

12 hour Indoor Cycling

This last Saturday was the 3rd Annual Indoor Cycling Marathon at American Athlete at Green Lake.

It was a smashing success with many of our team members riding many hours.

Halloween Fun

Tuesday's run/walk group celebrated it's 11th anniversary along with a birthday with our favorite workout - The Donut Challenge!!! Sunshine made the circuit training (while carrying a donut) extra special.
