Mailbox Peak Fun in the Fog
What a wonderful hike on the new Mailbox Peak trail, not too warm so the ascent was fast and fun. Some fog and low clouds for the last little bit up. It was a typical NW hike with many trees, fern, moss, some wildflowers, a little waterfall, mushrooms and slugs. Sunshine at the end, better late than never.

Melakwa Lake and Waterfalls
Another beautiful, green NW hike with a lot of wildflowers, waterfalls and a gorgeous lake.
Melakwa is the Chinook word for mosquito, but there were not many
around. No rain and perfect weather for a rocky climb! Lots of pictures because they were all my favorite.
